Answers to common questions

Bookings & Payment
To secure your booking we require a 50% deposit in New Zealand Dollars either by electronic bank transfer or via PayPal (with 4.5% fee added). Balance payable on arrival (cash, PayPal or electronic bank transfer). Please note we do not have credit card facilities.
Mobile coverage & Internet Connection
We offer a WiFi Broadband Internet connection for free. This would allow you to operate your business from our accommodations and be completely self-sufficient. There is good mobile coverage.
Cancellation Policy
If you have reason to cancel, we will always try to re-book the accommodation, in which case there will be no cancellation fee. If rebooking does not occur then the following applies:

Refund of deposit (1 May to 17 December stay):
100% refund if cancellation made more than 30 days before stay.
50% refund if cancellation made more than 14 days before stay.
0% refund if cancellation made less than 14 days before stay.

Refund of deposit (18 December to 30 April stay):
100% refund if cancellation made more than 60 days before stay.
50% refund if cancellation made more than 30 days before stay.
0% refund if cancellation made less than 30 days before stay.

We offer an 'open home' experience for you if you are interested in viewing our eco-focused and design-savvy accommodations. We are at 197 Seaton Valley Rd, Māpua seaside village, Nelson, New Zealand (Aotearoa)
